💙Project Hope

URGENT: Health and Humanitarian Crisis In Lebanon

Project HOPE is on the ground in Lebanon, providing supplies and surge staff to the front lines in what has become a large-scale health and humanitarian crisis.

Hundreds of people have been killed, thousands are injured, and around 200,000 people have been displaced across Lebanon as conflict continues to spread.

We're providing critical medical, hygiene and trauma supplies, assessing health needs, and deploying surge staff to provide relief to people who have been displaced by the conflict.

Join us to bring #HOPEforLebanon.

Your emergency support helps provide lifesaving aid to communities in Lebanon and ensures we can continue responding to crises globally in places like Gaza as we stretch our resources at this critical time.

EXAMPLES OF IMPACT:

  • $25 can provide a hygiene kit to a family in Lebanon with soap, clean water, bandages, shampoo, toothpaste, and more.
  • $100 can staff a mobile medical unit in Lebanon with a nurse to save lives with crucial health care.
  • $150 can staff a mobile medical unit in Lebanon with a doctor to provide medical care.

💙The International Resuce Commitee (IRC)

The IRC is deeply concerned by the escalating conflict in Lebanon, which has left over a thousand people dead and thousands more injured, including many women and children, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. We need your help responding to this crisis.

Thanks to our generous supporters, the IRC has been working in Lebanon since 2012, delivering relief programs to Lebanese citizens and refugees. Our teams provide emergency and long-term support to people affected by and recovering from overlapping crises.

IRC teams in Lebanon are now conducting rapid needs assessments which will guide our emergency response to support those affected by the ongoing fighting.

Your support today will help deliver emergency aid to families in Lebanon and refugees in need around the world.

💙Doctors Without Borders

As an independent and impartial humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) delivers emergency medical care where the needs for our expertise are greatest—regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or politics. MSF is working wherever lifesaving medical care is urgently needed. Your fundraiser and dedication enable us to respond immediately and to care for the patients who need it most.
In Gaza, civilians are caught in the crossfire, cut off from food, clean water, shelter, and health care. And as hundreds of thousands of people are forced to flee, we are seeing a chronic humanitarian crisis turn into a catastrophe. MSF continues to bear witness to the situation in Gaza and advocate for humanitarian access to be restored

Since June 17, MSF has been mobilizing emergency teams to respond to the mpox epidemic across Democratic Republic of Congo. Our teams are on the ground in South Kivu, North Kivu, Equateur, and South Ubangi provinces to support the local health authorities. More than 1,400 patients have been treated in MSF-supported facilities since June.

In Lebanon, MSF is distributing non-food items like mattresses and hygiene kits to collective shelters across the country. MSF mobile medical units are providing primary and mental health care to shelters for those in need. In addition, teams are running mental health helplines, offering psychological support to displaced and affected individuals during this time of distress.

MSF teams are responding to multiple emergencies around the world right now. We continue to be guided by one goal: To provide emergency humanitarian medical care.

💙British Red Cross

The ongoing conflict and situation in Gaza is catastrophic. Famine is looming, clean water is scarce, and the healthcare system has all but collapsed. Most people have fled from their homes, but there is nowhere safe left to go. We are witnessing unacceptable and relentless human suffering.

Aid alone will not solve this crisis, but it will save lives. People urgently need clean water, food, and medical care. Red Cross and Red Crescent teams have already helped over half the population, working tirelessly to alleviate suffering wherever they can.

The immediate needs are critical but the longer-term needs are also unimaginable. Families are traumatised, homes have been destroyed and there is little to no healthcare system.

Our Gaza Crisis appeal will help provide lifesaving aid today and a concerted, ongoing humanitarian response in the many years ahead. You can support us by donating to the British Red Cross Gaza Crisis appeal.

The Red Cross response will continue across the wider region and we will work closely with the Palestine Red Crescent Society, Magen David Adom in Israel, the ICRC and other National Societies to support all communities affected by this conflict.
