💙 LA Wildfire Relief LIVE

The wildfires in California have left communities devastated, with thousands of acres burned and many families losing their homes, businesses, and more. Join us in supporting the LAFD Wildfire Emergency Fund, California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, Baby2Baby, and CORE as they provide critical relief to those affected. Your involvement can help bring hope and aid to those who need it most.

💙Direct Relief

Direct Relief is responding to five active wildfires that erupted overnight across Southern California, fueled by strong winds and dry vegetation. The fires, four of which are in Los Angeles County and one in Riverside County, come amid extreme fire weather conditions caused by severe offshore winds and parched landscapes.

The organization is currently deploying medical aid, including emergency medical supplies for first responders and displaced residents, and respiratory protection equipment, including N95 respirators, to mitigate health risks from smoke exposure.

As the response progresses, Direct Relief will ensure first responders and health providers have access to the emergency medical supplies and equipment needed to save lives, support community health centers and free clinics so that those who are uninsured or underinsured receive care, and support long-term recovery efforts by funding health services, replacing damaged medical supplies, and helping communities rebuild healthcare infrastructure

💙 Americares

As devastating wildfires scorch Los Angeles, Americares is launching a rapid response to restore access to health services and address the most urgent health needs in affected communities.

The Palisades, Eaton and Hurst fires have burned more than 28,000 acres, destroyed homes and businesses and forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate. Smoke from the fires has caused air quality to reach hazardous levels in Los Angeles County, according to the Environmental Protection Agency’s air quality index.

Americares is prepared to deliver essential medicines, medical supplies, hygiene kits and first aid items to support communities impacted by the fires. We have offered assistance to more than 70 partner health facilities in the path of the fires.

Americares is a health-focused relief and development organization that saves lives and improves health for people affected by poverty or disaster. Each year, Americares reaches 85 countries on average, including the United States, with life-changing health programs, medicine, medical supplies and emergency aid. Americares is one of the world’s leading nonprofit providers of donated medicine and medical supplies.

💙Red Cross

Help people affected by disasters like tornadoes, house fires, and countless other crises by fundraising to support American Red Cross Disaster Relief. Your gift enables the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from disasters big and small.

We respond to an emergency every 8 minutes.

No one else does this: not the government, not other charities. From small house fires to multi-state natural disasters, the American Red Cross goes wherever we’re needed, so people can have clean water, safe shelter and hot meals when they need them most.

💙International Medical Corps

At International Medical Corps, we are dedicated to being first there, no matter where when disaster strikes, because we know that speed saves lives.

With nearly 40 years of experience responding to natural disasters, conflicts and disease outbreaks in more than 30 countries worldwide, our teams know crises can strike anytime, anywhere. Within the last year alone, we've seen how natural disasters can decimate entire communities and stress healthcare systems in places like Syria, Libya and the United States. We've seen how violent conflict can uproot families in Ukraine and Sudan. And we've seen how the ongoing hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa and Yemen threatens young children and their families with severe malnutrition.

💙Project Hope

Project HOPE is responding to the wildfires that are devastating Southern California. Thousands of people are displaced or under evacuation orders as the fast moving fire continues to intensify.

You can help rush urgently needed supplies and relief to people impacted by the fires. Your support also ensures we can continue responding to disasters, conflict and health crises worldwide. Thank you for joining with Project HOPE to respond at this critical time.

We will keep you updated as our California Wildfire response expands.

💙Greater Good Charities

The Greater LA fires are threatening entire communities—from displaced families and unhoused populations to injured animals, pet shelters overwhelmed, and damaged ecosystems.

The crisis is deepening. Gusting winds. Six fires burning. Officials predict displacements – and death tolls – will increase in the days to come.

But where challenges multiply, so does our response. As flames tear through one of America's most densely populated counties, we are tackling intertwined needs, deploying critical aid and mobilizing teams with precision, purpose, and heart.

You can help. Your support helps us deliver essential aid to the right places at the right time for vulnerable people, pets, and communities affected by this disaster

💙World Central Kitchen

Los Angeles is seeing unprecedented wildfires in residential areas. For the first time in recent memory, Best Friends is in the unique situation to be offering help and support to other local animal welfare organizations while also needing to ensure the safety of our own pets and staff in our Pet Adoption Center.

We are in a serious situation, but our team is ready. From securing supplies and crates to coordinating with emergency response volunteers and fosters, every detail is being managed with care and precision.

💙 Save the Children

Children in Los Angeles are experiencing significant distress and trauma as they witness the destruction of their homes, schools and neighborhoods in the costliest wildfire disaster in the country’s history. We know that disasters have an immediate and long-term impact on children’s physical health, emotional well-being and ability to learn. These impacts can be felt by children years after the event.

As a leader in education and childcare recovery, we’re working with partners to reach families in California by: • Providing families with essential items and emergency cash. • Ensuring children are safe through emergency child care and providing child care centers with emergency grants. • Offering mental health and psychosocial support to children and caregivers.

This disaster has devastated all of Los Angeles, and we will focus on reaching the most vulnerable communities with long-term recovery efforts, including getting kids get back to learning, helping child care providers re-open and protecting children’s mental health and well-being.

Save the Children has been supporting children’s most critical needs in emergencies since 2005, including Hurricanes Helene, Milton, Ian, Irma, Michael, Idalia and Beryl. We are leaders when it comes to responding to the specific needs of children and families after a disaster through coordinating emergency distributions of child-centric supplies, supporting the recovery of child care centers, and provides mental health support programs to help children and their families cope and build resilience.

As the climate crisis intensifies the frequency and severity of extreme weather events and coastal areas become more populated, millions of children in storm-prone areas face increased risks like floods, landslides, damage to homes and schools, heightened exposure to disease, and even death.

💙Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles believes everyone deserves a decent place to live.

The Los Angeles wildfires have torn through communities, leaving thousands of families devastated and without a home. In addition to the emotional toll, survivors now face the financial burden of rebuilding or relocating.

We have long history of helping vulnerable households after a disaster, including rebuilding 120 homes after the recent Woolsey and Creek fires.

In response, Habitat LA is launching ReBUILD LA®, a long-term emergency response campaign, to assist those affected to rebuild their homes, relocate to other housing, provide essential supplies, and restore their lives.

The immediate need for assistance is overwhelming. Thousands of people have been displaced, and many face the prospect of not having a safe, affordable home in the near future. According to niche.com, 22% of households in the affected area earn less than the median income for Los Angeles County

💙Humane Society

Our Emergency Animal Relief Fund is a continuing, dedicated fund that enables us to help animals impacted by disasters or otherwise in need of urgent rescue.

Emergency preparation and response-related activities that donations support include:

  • Rescuing, caring for and providing temporary shelter to animals in need.

  • Renting and outfitting temporary animal-sheltering facilities.

  • Purchasing, renting and outfitting rescue vehicles, including trucks and boats.

  • Providing long-term care for rescued animals and transporting them to placement partners. Helping lost and displaced animals reunite with their families.

  • Hiring emergency response staff and training staff and volunteer responders.

  • Helping shelters and other animal protection facilities impacted by disasters and other emergencies.

  • Educating the public about the importance of taking pets with them during disaster evacuations and planning for those evacuations.

  • Assisting private humane organizations and federal, state and local officials in preparing for and responding to disasters and other emergencies that affect companion animals, farm animals and wildlife.

  • Increasing the infrastructure and capacity of the HSUS’s emergency response efforts through fundraising, education and awareness raising.

Your donation can make a huge impact! Donate to support these animals and our ongoing lifesaving work today.

💙Feed the Children

Feed the Children is actively deploying resources to our partners on the ground as they provide crucial support to those impacted by the wildfires in the L.A. area. As these fires continue to burn, this unprecedented crisis has already destroyed tens of thousands of buildings and forced hundreds of thousands of residents to evacuate, but Feed the Children remains steadfast in our commitment to meet the needs of children and their families.

Many families have lost everything, and they need your support. Together we can partner to provide immediate relief.

Ruiz Foods will match all donations up to $500 per donation. This campaign will run through January 22nd.
