April showers bring May flowers, and it is the perfect time to start fundraising! Our charity partners have some great fundraising opportunities this month, and we are excited to share them with you!

💙War Child
Event: Mother’s Week
Goal: $25,000.00
460 Million children around the world live in a conflict zone. This staggering number tells us that hundreds of millions of mothers around the world are also striving daily to protect their children from the devastation of war.
So for this Mother’s Day, War Child is launching Mother’s Week from May 6th through May 12th, because one day is just not enough to honor these unsung heroes.
💙 Hope For The Day
Event: Mental Health Awareness Month
Goal: $10,000.00
May is Mental Health Awareness Month! We understand that it is important to talk about our mental health all year long, but we celebrate this month for the excitement it brings. It encourages and pushes folks to learn more about mental health resources and the various ways to support themselves and the people around them. Not just this month, but EVERY month Hope for the Day works to empower the conversation on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education.
From May 1, 2024 until May 31, 2004, help support our 2024 proactive suicide prevention and mental health education programming by Streaming for Hope! When you Stream for Hope, you are helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health by starting the conversation in your community, a place we may not have otherwise been able to reach people.

Event: Creators For Cures

This Spring, JDRF is celebrating our community of creators with the second annual Creators for Cures!
From May 12–19, we’ll put our creativity on display as we fundraise to find CURES for type 1 diabetes! During these 8 days of creative fundraising, each day will focus on specific activities:

💙 Lupus Foundation of America
Event: Game On! to End Lupus 2024
Goal: $200,000.00

The Lupus Foundation of America’s Game On! to End Lupus™ unites streamers from around the world as they play video games and get creative while using their platforms to help end lupus. Held May 3–5, 2024 as part of Lupus Awareness Month, creators are welcome to stream as often as they would like during the event and throughout the month. However long you stream, you will be helping to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of the disease, and rally public support for those who suffer from its brutal impact.

Event: The Quest for No-Kill 2025

A call to adventure awaits! Join us in The Quest for No-Kill 2025, a special event to celebrate Best Friends Day (June 8)! Choose your quest, whether gaming, music, art or just chatting and having fun alongside your furry, feathered, or scaled best friend, on any platform. However you stream, you can easily raise funds which will help Best Friends Animal Society get more dogs and cats out of shelters and into homes and make our country no-kill in 2025! And right now, thanks to two anonymous donors, every dollar you raise will be matched up to $200,000*, which means your fundraiser will have twice the impact.

Help change the game for young Aussies experiencing mental ill-health — Whether you’re an avid gamer, a whiz in the kitchen, a musician or artist, or even just love to chat, go live for youth mental health!
Stream your favourite game or activity throughout May and score epic loot for each fundraising milestone! Every dollar donated will support batyr’s vital preventative mental health initiatives in schools and universities across the country

Event: You Are Worth the Effort
Goal: $10,000.00
This May we are rallying our communities for Mental Health Month to share the message that You Are Worth the Effort. Together, we can inspire change — for our communities, for our loved ones, and for ourselves. We’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 by May 31st. These funds are critical to helping TWLOHA bring a message of hope and a connection to mental health resources for 20,000,000 people this year. Every story, every conversation, every dollar matters when we’re fighting for people to stay alive and find healing.
