Juneteenth is the celebration of slaves being freed during the Emancipation Proclamation in 1865 on June 19th. Juneteenth” is a portmanteau of “June” and “Nineteenth.

Juneteenth is so important to the black community, and we wanted to uplift and highlight creators that are doing amazing work this year and fundraising for important causes.

We have an amazing group of creators celebrating and Fundraising for The Advancement Project and Black Girls Code!

First, we have xmiramira hosting the event over at her channel twitch.tv/xmiramira for Black Girls Code alongside panelists BarefootTasha, MiladyConfetti, and MsAshRocks at 4 PM PST. These creators will discuss the importance of this celebration and being a black creator in this space. They all take part in cosplays, makeup, and so much more.

All creators involved will be live on their own channels, so make sure to support this event and support these wonderful causes!
