Here are some current charities supporting disaster relief in the affected areas, we will update this list periodically.
The British Red Cross

On 24 June, two powerful earthquakes struck north-central Venezuela, less than a minute apart: a 7.2 magnitude foreshock at around 6.04pm local time, followed by a 7.5 magnitude mainshock, with epicentres in the Yaracuy region.
The earthquakes caused structural collapses and damage to homes and businesses in Caracas and across several states, with particularly serious impact reported in La Guaira and Greater Caracas. National authorities have declared a state of emergency, suspended classes and non-essential activities, ordered preventive evacuations, activated search-and-rescue operations and set up reception centres for people affected, while hospitals receive the injured.
While the situation in Venezuela following the earthquake is still developing, the humanitarian needs are serious and urgent.
Our work includes helping people in the UK and overseas when emergencies happen, preventing or easing human suffering around the world, supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking and protecting people in armed conflict.
Project Hope

🚨URGENT: Project HOPE is on the ground in northern Venezuela, responding to the deadly back-to-back 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes. We need your help to rush urgent aid and supplies to families and children impacted by these earthquakes and ensure we can continue our mission in the 25+ countries where we work.
Early reports describe collapsed buildings, communication outages, and major damage to critical infrastructure as aftershocks continued through the night. The earthquakes have claimed hundreds of lives, injured thousands more, with tens of thousands still reported missing. The disaster compounds an already severe humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, where nearly 8 million people were in need of assistance even before the earthquake struck, making urgent support for affected families all the more critical.
Your efforts support Project HOPE as we continue our critical work to respond to disasters, health crises and conflicts all over the world, wherever the need is greatest.
Save The Children

Your donation to the Children's Emergency Fund means we can act as soon as a crisis hits, and deliver life-saving support wherever it is needed, when it matters most, allowing our teams to deliver lifesaving medical care and emergency shelter to families around the world who have lost everything. With emergency supplies prepositioned, we work with local partners to provide life-saving support in health, nutrition, education, child protection, food security and water, sanitation and hygiene for children and their families.
Venezuela Earthquake: • Two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 have struck central Venezuela, causing widespread damage across several states, particularly in Caracas. • Buildings and infrastructure have been severely damaged, with power and communications cut in some areas and fears people are trapped under debris. • Save the Children has been supporting local organizations in Venezuela since the 1980s. • Our teams are responding and working urgently with teams and partners to assess needs and support affected children and families.
While the extent of the destruction will take time to become clear, we know from past experience that children will need urgent support to access shelter, food, water and healthcare now. With your support, Save the Children is there before, during and after an emergency. Working together, we help communities become more resilient so that each time a crisis happens they are stronger, more likely to survive, and recover more quickly.

2026 Venezuela Earthquake Response:
Two powerful earthquakes have devastated parts of northern Venezuela, collapsing buildings, disrupting power, and leaving communities facing urgent medical needs.
The first 72 hours after an earthquake are critical for reaching people trapped beneath collapsed structures and connecting survivors to emergency medical care. Direct Relief is providing emergency funding to support the deployment of Bomberos Unidos Sin Fronteras (BUSF), a Spain-based search and rescue organization, to assist with operations on the ground.
At the same time, Direct Relief is preparing emergency medical aid, including first aid supplies, hygiene items for displaced families, medicines used to treat acute injuries, and chronic disease medications for people whose access to routine care has been disrupted.
