💙 To Write Love on Her Arms

Event: People Need Other People

At TWLOHA, it’s always been our belief that people need other people, and this May in honor of Mental Health Month, we are giving you a chance to rally your communities and come together to raise mission-critical funds for initiatives that offer hope and mental health support to thousands of people this year.

Together, we’ll prove that healing happens when we show up for each other. We all know the importance of mental health, and this fundraising campaign helps us show up with the life-saving support and resources that people need now more than ever.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 in order to cover 365 hours of therapy through our Treatment & Recovery Scholarship program, we well as help fund our Find Help Tool.

  • Raise $100: Help us Build Resilience We created our Mental Health Toolkit as a hub to access practical tools for people to build resilience and to cope. Raising $100 helps us keep this resource running and will impact 275 people as we have over 50,000 people utilizing this tool annually.

  • Raise $250: Empower Community Raising $250 sponsors a weekly peer support group creating a vital healing space for up to 60 people each week. It makes asking for help possible and even life saving.

  • Raise $500: Connect People to Help We want to shorten the distance between needing help and getting it. Our FIND HELP Tool connects people to free or reduced-cost mental health resources in their area. Raising $500 allows 1,500 people access to this platform.

  • Raise $1,000: Help us Erase Financial Barriers Our Treatment & Recovery Scholarship helps erase the financial barriers that prevent so many from accessing mental health care. Raising $1,000 will give 20 people the chance to sit with a licensed mental health professional and start their journey of healing.

*Your fundraising efforts and donations enable us to sustain these initiatives and ensure they remain accessible without financial barriers, helping those who need them most.
