Tiltify | Twitter | YouTube | Instagram | Discord
How much have you fundraised?
$13,885.77
What is the next fundraising campaign you have planned?
It's not decided yet but I would like it to be something that I organize myself!
What is your favorite moment of fundraising?
It's a fan-made clip of when I realised that the collected donation amount way exceeded my expectations
Why do you choose to fundraise?
Since debuting as a Vtuber, fundraising has always been one of my goals. I am a Japanese Vtuber and still learning English, but most of my fans are from overseas. The world is much larger than I ever imagined, and there are so many people, each living their daily lives in various environments and circumstances. I have always wanted to use my activities to bring a bit of happiness to someone, whether they are my fans or not, even to those who don't watch or know about Vtubers and streaming. Recently, I was contacted by Gamers Outreach, an organization that supports children in hospitals through the power of video games, about a charity event called Vtuber Summer Slam, which involves many Vtubers. Both my fans and I love games dearly, and during my own long battle with illness, games provided me with a lot of joy and experiences. Their activities are truly wonderful and deeply resonate with me, so I decided to participate in their event and held a charity stream!
What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?
Incentives > Rewards : Using this function, I set it in a way where whenever anyone donates $5, they will be able to download a limited wallpaper.
What is a fun fact you’d like to share?
Before the event, I had set a donation goal of $1000, not confident if we were able to achieve a high goal, especially since I had just released new merchandise for my birthday. It was actually cleared within a minute of starting the fundraiser! After that, what was surprising was that everyone kept donating to the point where we fundraised $13,885.77 from the stream, which was the most achieved in the whole event! The people who donated and the many fans and viewers who came to the stream and made it so much fun even if they couldn't donate were all so kind and thoughtful. I am so proud of my fanbase and all my supportive people!
What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?
It was my first time participating in a charity event so I was very anxious about a lot of things. However the most important thing is to have fun and do what you think is right without getting overwhelmed by the pressure of numbers.
