I’m so grateful to @GamersOutreach for having me as a streamer this year & for my community truly showing up for me this weekend to support a cause that is close to my heart. ♥️

Why do you choose to fundraise?
When I found out about Gamers Outreach, I knew I had to get involved. It was a cause that hit close to home and involved gaming. Gaming has had such a positive impact on my life. So, when I found out that Gamers Outreach was making mobile gaming stations for hospitalized children I knew that it could positively impact them like it did for me. It can help them by offering an escape from tough day to day treatments. My Slayers Club community was even able to raise enough money to sponsor our own mobile gaming / entertainment GO Kart for a Hospital!
What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?
This was the first time I used the Tiltify platform, it was easy to navigate and kept everything organized for me. I liked that it connected seamlessly with my Streamlabs alerts for when people donated. Then on the platform myself I was able to manage the campaign while I was streaming. I was able to know who donated, when, how much and could update the goal in seconds. I defiantly plan to use Tiltify for all upcoming charity campaigns.
What is a fun fact you’d like to share?
A fun fact is that I am not only a gamer / streamer, but I’ve actually been a DJ for nearly 17 years now. I was a competitive gymnast for 15 years and wasn’t allowed to do anything where I could risk getting injured, so I turned to gaming and Djing on the side as my two hobbies! Growing up in Michigan we had long cold winters, so when I was cooped up inside I had a lot of time to grind Halo and explore 80s,90s & 00’s Dance / Electronic Music. I would listen to music while gaming and during my gymnastics competitions to get me pumped up. Now, I DJ as a profession and have even taken on music production. I have my first EP release coming up in the next month or two and couldn’t be more excited!
What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?
Well actually this was my first fundraising stream and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I think first off it’s important to find a cause that is close to your heart. Don’t overthink it. Be your true authentic self and have fun with it. When people see that they will resonate with you and the cause that you’re supporting.
