Community Spotlight: MiyukiPanda

This week, we are featuring the amazing work of MiyukiPanda (she/her)!

She streams F1/sim racing primarily, and then variety for charity streams.

We asked her some questions about her time fundraising for charity on Tiltify, so let’s get into it!

How much have you fundraised?

$13,190.47

What is the next fundraising campaign you have planned?

Skydive for Cancer Research UK — 27th July 2024

What is your favorite moment of fundraising?

Hitting the fundrasing goal 9 hours early and having to sit with egg in my hair for the rest of the stream

Why do you choose to fundraise?

I lost my uncle to colon cancer in 2020 then I lost my nanny in november 2023 to pancreatic cancer and I want to carry on their legacy of helping others.

What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?

Incentives, Polls, rewards for viewers (i.e giveaways). Having the progress bars and alerts all in one place is very helpful too.

What is a fun fact you’d like to share?

My first EVER fundraiser for charity and I organised was for victims of a typhoon in Tacloban in the Philippines where we raised almost £200 through a bakesale in the college.

What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?

Just do it. Whether you raise £1 or £1000 everything helps charities. Whatever you raise is more money than they had than if you didnt do your fundraiser. There is literally nothing to lose.
