This week, we are featuring the amazing work of Markstrom (he/him)!
He is a variety streamer on Twitch, with an emphasis on survival/extraction shooters. We asked him some questions about his time fundraising for charity on Tiltify, so let’s get into it!

How much have you fundraised?
Over $264,000 for Gamers Outreach (dating back pre-tiltify)
What is the next fundraising campaign you have planned?
Gamers for Giving 2025
What is your favorite moment of fundraising?
My favorite memory is donating the mobile gaming units to the hospital I once worked out before becoming a content creator. It was very special for me to unify these two paths in lives and use my new platform to make an important difference.
Why do you choose to fundraise?
Online streaming platforms and their communities are extremely powerful and are capable of unforseen amounts of good in the world. I feel like it’s my responsibility to ensure I’m doing my part.
What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?
Having raised money for charity in the pre-tilify era, I recognize the immense improvement the platform has brought to the space in the sense of streamlining fundraising and providing a meaningful toolset to raise even more funds.
What is a fun fact you’d like to share?
I look forward to a time where people will look back on when “hospitals didn’t foster gameplay” and wonder “what the heck were we thinking?”.
What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?
My biggest advice is to pick a cause you feel very stongly about. Your passion for the cause is what will drive you and your community to have the largest impact and enjoy the process.
