This week, we are featuring the amazing work of britishsimertime (she/her)!
She is a variety streamer, and plays a little bit of everything!
We asked her some questions about her time fundraising for charity on Tiltify, so let’s get into it!

How much have you fundraised?
$16,914.90
What is the next fundraising campaign you have planned?
I will be raising money for TWLOHA in October, Stack Up in November and then holding a 24 hour fundraiser on New Years Eve for Project Hope (Part of their annual Hopemas campaign)!
What is your favorite moment of fundraising?
It is really difficult to name just one, I have been really lucky to have some absolutely amazing moments on stream while fundraising! I have a long standing tradition to dance for donations and goals so only seems right to include a clip of that:
Why do you choose to fundraise?
I actually only started streaming because I had seen the amazing fundraising other creators had achieved and I wanted to be a part of putting more of that good in the world. I get a lot of joy from spreading awareness about charities and from doing really stupid things to help raise money for causes that really need it. I know i'll never be able to change the whole world, but i like to think me, and my community could maybe make it a slightly better place, one penguin dance at a time.
What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?
Honestly I love the overlays for donation goals and milestones that tiltify provide, along with the fun alerts for letting you know the donations are coming in. I also think it's great you can select other people to admin your campaign, this can be really handy if things get a bit chaotic. Also, I cannot praise the team campaigns enough! They are so easy to set up and manage, and I love that you can feature different people on the teams homepage, so you can adjust to who is live!
What is a fun fact you’d like to share?
That even though I call my community The Huddle, a group of penguins is actually called 'a waddle' which is just too cute!
What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?
DO IT!! No seriously, give it a go. Keep in mind that raising awareness is just as important as raising money, you never know who is watching that could use that service, or be inspired to support them at a later date. Also, have fun with it, it seems obvious but it's true. Even when the charities themselves are really hard hitting, it doesn't mean the event can't be fun and silly. Lastly go into it with zero expectations, every single dollar you raise is a dollar that charity didn't have before, so no matter what you are making a difference! So just... DO IT!!
