Community Spotlight: AuroraPeachy

This week, we are featuring the amazing work of AuroraPeachy (she/her)! She is known for playing a variety of RPGs, being a collector, and offering a variety of content. We had the honor to ask her some questions related to her time fundraising for charity on Tiltify, so check it out!

How much have you fundraised?

$113,078

What is your favorite moment of fundraising?

There are far too many moments to pick a fave, but my favorite thing about charity fundraising is how it brings our community together in wonderful ways, and even better when my family gets involved!

Why do you choose to fundraise?

My fundraising efforts on Twitch all started in honor of my step daughter, Annika, who has a debilitating neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome. We raise for this cause every December. This will be our 10th year!

What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?

I don’t think I’d have raised half as much without Polls, Rewards and Milestones! Tiltify makes setting these up so easy and fun!

What is a fun fact you’d like to share?

The reason I dye my hair fashion colors is because of charity fundraising! I was always too scared to do it but decided that if my community donated 10K to St. Jude I’d dye it peach, and they delivered! Since then we’ve raised over 16k in hair-related goals, and since then my hair has been purple, blue and pink!

What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?

Don’t go overboard with rewards and incentives, do what’s easy and fun for you and JUST DO IT! ♡
