This week, we are featuring the amazing work of ArianaKatana (she/her)! She is a Just Dance streamer on Twitch, and we asked her some questions about her time fundraising for charity on Tiltify.

How much have you fundraised?
$14,424.84
What is your favorite moment of fundraising?
Last year while fundraising for St. Jude, we hit $5,000 during our Dance-A-Thon with only 2 minutes left on the stream. It was awesome!
Why do you choose to fundraise?
I have been blessed with an incredible, supportive community, so I want to give back in some way. If we can help make a positive impact, big or small, I want to do that.
What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?
Milestones and rewards have been some of the best tools I’ve used while fundraising. Not only are they great incentives to donate, but they have given me a chance to try fun, new activities with my community. They make the fundraising season all the more exciting!
What is a fun fact you’d like to share?
In high school, I would practice writing with my left hand, so I’m mildly ambidextrous.
What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?
It is so helpful to be knowledgeable about the charity you are fundraising for, so make sure to look up a few talking points ahead of time! Even better if you can speak about the impact of donations and where the money goes to. Also, don’t forget to have fun! Some of the best times with my community have been during fundraising streams because we are coming together to help a cause that is bigger than any one of us.
