How much have you fundraised?
$18,882.14! I’m hoping to reach $25k this year!
Why do you choose to fundraise?
I choose to fundraise because I want to make a positive change to lives. If I know I can make a difference to even just one person, that means the world to me.
What is your favorite moment of fundraising?
My favourite moment would have to be when I received an e-mail from Variety — the Children’s Charity which included pictures from one of their latest events to show how the money we had raised was going to be used, along with a thank you letter. It really brought tears to my eyes!
What Tiltify tools have you used that made an impact on your fundraising?
I personally love using Tiltify’s overlay feature so your community can clearly see how close you are to your goal! Also I find having a silly little alert that plays when you receive a donation makes it 100% better! My favourite alert sound is “Kazoo 12”!
What is a fun fact you’d like to share?
Ooh fun fact… I have Duane syndrome, a congenital eye condition! I used to scare my friends at school because I could look in two directions at once. It doesn’t affect me too much anymore, but I do sometimes see double because of it!
What advice do you have for anyone fundraising for the first time?
Try not to stress yourself out over whether or not you’re going to reach your donation goal. No matter the amount you raise, it’s still more than it would have been if you didn’t go ahead with a campaign! You’ve got this! ❤
