On November 15th, record-breaking floods began devastating communities across British Columbia. 15,000 British Columbians have been displaced, landslides have taken lives, land has been destroyed, and bridges have been washed away. With record-breaking floods and rain warnings continuing to impact communities across the province, our Canadian partners at Tiltify are working hard to provide emergency assistance and relief. You can make a difference by fundraising for organizations that are working on the ground to rebuild communities and save lives.

We are proud to have charities that support disaster relief in the Tiltify family to answer the call to help those impacted by the after-effects of flooding. You can make a difference, click, and discover how you can help today!

Here are a few current charities supporting disaster relief in affected areas:

The Canadian Red Cross is working to get help to people in and around affected areas as quickly as possible and provide humanitarian assistance for new needs as they arise. Money raised will enable the Red Cross to carry out relief, recovery, resiliency, and risk reduction activities in and beyond the region at the individual and community levels.

The British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA) is helping animals and their guardians. As communities across B.C. continue to suffer the impact of severe weather, the situation for animals and their humans is changing hourly. They are working to keep families together by providing those stranded or who had to evacuate without time to prepare food, crates, and other pet supplies as needed.
